A distinctive clay designed for the rigors of fast firing and cooling in the Raku process. We have designed this clay to withstand thermal shock in the fast kiln firing. If a fine detailed surface is required in pottery or sculpture, this is the clay for you. We have blended several unique clays to achieve plasticity and superior handling qualities increasing its performance in all aspects of forming and firing.
Note: Pieces fired in a Raku kiln are not food safe and should not be used for functional ware.
