Description

Slab & Sculpture clay is designed for big sculptural projects where stability in forming and firing are crucial. With a higher grog content, this coarse clay body is used by production potters, tile makers and sculptural artists because of its superior handling qualities and resilience to cracking tendencies. As a cone 6 to 10 clay body, Slab & Sculpture preforms well in both an oxidation and reduction firing - coloring can vary from a medium buff to a rusty iron brown.
