Description:

Biz Bod is a strong sturdy clay that willl not flop while throwing. Contains a simple but diverse blend of clays, making for an ultimate throwing body. We highly recommend this formula for functional pottery as it handles supremely and takes a wide range of glazes. It fires light brown in oxidation and dark brown in reduction kiln atmospheres.

Named after a well-known potter whose pottery is found in many homes and museums, this clay body formula has a long notable history and is currently used by many professional potters. It was developed in part at Alfred University, College of Ceramics, NY. We know that this clay body will meet and exceed your expectations.
