Dover Sand

With an exceptional firing range, Dover Sand's reputation speaks for itself. Just like the traditional smooth Dover, this clay body fires between a cone 6 and 10. Vitrifying at cone 6 but looking even more beautiful the hotter it is fired, this clay makes you look good! Try it out, I guarantee you will like it! 

To be a bit more specific, Dover Sand is Dover with the addition of silica sand for added strength and texture. Perfect for those potters switching between wheel throwing and hand building. Adding silica sand allows you to throw bigger and build larger, without losing the plasticity that Dover brings.
