Brick Red is a deep, solid red glaze that works beautifully on its own as a base or accent color. When used as an undercoat in the Texas Two-Step series, it creates striking oilspot effects when layered with one of the specialized overcoats.
The Texas Two-Step Oilspots series is designed to produce unique spotted patterns, with the spot size increasing with thicker overcoat applications. Experimenting with wax resist between layers can also lead to impressive negative space designs, adding even more dimension and texture to the final piece.
