Whether you want to fire ceramics, glass, metal, or clay, the Skutt Firebox 8x6 LT Kiln does it all.

Easy and safe to use, this compact kiln uses standard 120V voltage and includes a shelf, three posts, kiln wash, and an operating manual. It comes with a Mini Touchscreen Controller, which incorporates preset programs for firing ceramics or glass. Or you can create custom programs to anneal or temper, fire precious metal clay, fuse and slump glass pieces, and more. The lid opens to over 90 degrees for easy loading, and the handle stays cool even when the kiln is hot.

The firing chamber for the Skutt FireBox 8x6 Kiln measures 8" × 8" × 6". It fires to Cone 6.

The FireBox 8×4 now comes equipped with the innovative Mini Touchscreen Controller, offering unparalleled convenience and versatility for Glass, Ceramics, and Precious Metal Clay firing. Nothing against electricians, but who really enjoys paying to have their house rewired. With the FireBox 8×4 you take it out of the box, plug it into any spare 120V outlet you have in the house and you are ready to start fusing. Okay, it does need to be a grounded outlet.

Glass fusers are always lifting their lids when their kilns are hot to take a peek. The wood handle on the FireBox 8×4 stays cool even when the kiln is at peak temperature.
