Skutt PK kilns, drawing more than 48 amps, are mandated by electrical codes to incorporate fuses. These fuses are situated in a dedicated fuse block positioned behind the heat baffle in all PK kilns.
It's important to note that non-PK kilns do not utilize these fuses.
