DiamondCore Tools
The T1 Half Dome is built around a replaceable stainless steel blade designed to maintain its sharp cutting edge without sharpening. No stones, no honing, no "it used to cut better than this." When the blade eventually wears, simply replace it and keep trimming.
Its half-dome profile does two jobs at once: the rounded side sweeps smooth curves and clean ribbons, and the crisp straight corner cuts a defined edge — so you can move from a rounded foot to a crisp corner without switching tools.
Inner foot trimming — the 17 mm half-dome reaches inside a foot ring, while the rounded edge follows the curve for smooth, controlled trimming.
Outer foot trimming — shave thin, continuous ribbons while smoothly blending the foot into the wall.
Square and flat-edge trimming — the straight corner cuts a crisp shoulder or flat facet that can be difficult to achieve with a rounded loop tool.
Carving and shaping leather-hard clay — the sharp cutting edge helps reduce dragging, tearing, and burrs for a cleaner cut. It is not intended for use on bone-dry or fired clay, which can damage the blade.
Smoothing, without switching tools — the paddle-shaped handle tip doubles as a smoothing tool.
